Republic Day Parade: Know Important Traffic Advisory For Bengaluru Commuters

Ahead of the Republic Day Celebration in Bengaluru, preparations are underway at the Manekshaw Parade Ground on Cubbon Road. As part of these arrangements, a temporary traffic blockage is planned from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, affecting both directions on Cubbon Road, from BRV Junction to Kamaraj Road Junction. Commuters are advised to utilise alternative routes during this period.

For vehicles heading towards Manipal Center on Infantry Road, the recommended diversion is to turn left at Infantry Road - Safina Plaza, then proceed by taking a left turn, passing through Alice Circle, Dispensary Road, and reaching Kamaraja Road and Dickinson Road Junction. Finally, take a right turn at Kamaraja Road to connect with Kabban Road and Kamaraja Road Junction. From there, proceed by taking a left turn towards Manipal Center via Kabban Road.

On Cubbon Road, vehicular traffic from Manipal Center Junction to B.R.V. has been restricted near Manipal Centre. Affected vehicles can reroute by taking a right turn near Webb Junction and continuing towards Meohal, Kaveri Emporium, Anil Kumble Circle, crossing MG Road.

All attendees holding car passes are urged to follow the specified gates and parking locations indicated on their passes.

Emergency Service Vehicles, including Ambulances, Fire Brigade Vehicles, Water Tankers, K.S.R.P., C.R.T., B.B.M.P., and PWD vehicles, are permitted to enter the parade ground through Entrance-2 and park behind the Port Wall, towards the south.
