Renuka Swamy's Parents Demand Ban On Actor Darshan From Kannada Film Industry

The parents of Renuka Swamy, the 28-year-old fan who was allegedly murdered by Kannada actor Darshan, are demanding a ban on the actor from the Kannada film industry. Ratnaprabha, Renuka Swamy's mother, called Darshan a "villain" and accused him of being a "thief and criminal" who should be held accountable for his actions.

Speaking to the media, Ratnaprabha said that Darshan's fans should know about the heinous crime their idol has committed and that his son should also meet the same fate as her son. "God should give Darshan enlightenment not to hurt anyone like my son in future," she said, tears welling up in her eyes.

Renuka Swamy's father, Shivanagouda, expressed similar sentiments, saying that Darshan could have informed them about the obscene message their son had sent to Pavithra Gowda and they would have reprimanded him. "How is my son's wife supposed to lead her life now?" he asked, pointing out that she is pregnant and he is retired.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Police continued to interrogate Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and 11 other accused for the second day in connection with Renuka Swamy's murder. The police have so far revealed that Renuka Swamy had allegedly sent a picture of his private parts to Pavithra Gowda and claimed to be better than Darshan.

Pavithra Gowda shared this with one of the accused, Pavan, who then informed Darshan, leading to the murder of Renuka Swamy. According to reports, the police also said that Pavithra Gowda was made to beat Renuka Swamy with her slippers and that Darshan's associates assaulted his private parts, keeping the victim's message in mind.

The police investigation has also revealed that Darshan had given Rs 30 lakh to a gang to dispose of Renuka Swamy's body and claim responsibility for the murder. Four persons initially surrendered and claimed responsibility for the crime, but their statements contradicted each other, allowing the police to uncover the truth.

In related news, Darshan's first wife has unfollowed him on social media and deleted her profile picture following these developments. A section of fans supported her while another section blamed Pavithra Gowda for destroying Darshan's family life.

Renuka Swamy's family has revealed that he worked at a pharmacy and had been married for a year. His wife is five months pregnant. The murder came to light on June 9 after an unidentified body was spotted in a canal by a security guard.
