Power Cuts In Bengaluru: No Electricity On November 20 In THESE Areas
Bengaluru, the IT capital of India, is set to face another power outage tomorrow, November 20. Residents across various parts of the city will experience disruptions due to emergency maintenance work.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 20, the 66/11KV Shobha Indraprastha Station will be without power as repairs are carried out at the 66/11KV Austin Town Station. These power cuts are part of regular maintenance activities by KPTCL and BESCOM, aimed at ensuring a more reliable power supply. The interruptions, which will affect multiple neighborhoods, are due to preventive maintenance, tree trimming, and servicing of power lines.

Both the city center and surrounding suburbs will be impacted. Areas affected by the outage include Ashok Nagar, Garudamal, Dommalur, Austin Town, Vivek Nagar, Trinity Church, Vijaya Bank, Hotel Taj, Victoria Layout, Shobha Pearl, ICICI Bank, Embassy Heights, Abharan Jewellery, Urban Life, RMZ, and Ashok Nagar.
Additionally, locations such as Museum Road, Albert Street, King Street, Museum Cross Road, Lavelle Road, St. Mark's Road, YG Palya, KSRP, ITC Hotel, Shobha Indraprastha Apartments, and Global Mall will also experience power cuts.
Residents in these areas are encouraged to plan ahead. BESCOM assures that these maintenance efforts are essential for enhancing the reliability and quality of power supply.
