Power Cuts in Bengaluru: No Electricity In These Areas On Wednesday

Several areas in Bengaluru will experience power cut on Wednesday this week October 23. To avoid inconvenience to the public, BESCOM has issued an alert in advance.

Due to emergency maintenance work by KPTCL at the 66/11 kV Vidya Substation, power supply will be disrupted in the N-9 sub-division of Jalahalli on October 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Details of areas affected by power cuts:

The power outage will affect the following areas:

Vinayaka Nagar, Vikas Nagar, Sobha Apartments, 8th Mile Road, Ramaiah Layout, Havanur Extension, Narayana Layout, Vidya School, Kuvempu Nagar, Vidya Bus Stop, Reliance Fresh, Munikondappa Layout, Ashok Nagar, Vidya Nagar, Defence Colony, Havanur Extension, Manjunath Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Kataraya Nagar, Soap Factory Layout, Vijayalakshmi Layout, Andanappa Layout, BTS Layout, Siddeshwara Layout, Sasuveghatta, parts of Soladevanahalli, Tarabanahalli Main Road, Havanur Extension, Hesaraghatta Main Road, Siddehalli, parts of Visvesvaraya Layout, Royal Enclave, Byraweshwara Circle, and surrounding areas.

Power outages from Sunday to Wednesday

BESCOM has also announced that due to emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 kV "Telecom" Station to replace the 11kV Bank-2 breakers, there will be power outages in the following areas from October 20 to October 23, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Areas affected by the power cuts include:

Obalesh Colony, VS Garden, Raipur, Binny Pete, Padarayanapura, JJR Nagar, Gopalan Mall, Mysore Road 1st, 2nd, 3rd Cross, Momimpura, Janatha Colony, Shamana Garden, Arfat Nagar, Ranganath Colony, Hosahalli Main Road, Park West Apartments Binny Pete, Anjanappa Garden, Doreswamy Nagar, Flower Garden, New Police Quarters, SD Mutt, Cotton Pete, Akkipete, Balaji Complex, Manavarthi Pete, Sultan Pete, opposite Nalbandwadi Chikpete Metro Station, Police Road, Gopalan Apartments, Mariyappa A. KPS Mutt, Gangappa Garden, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Prestige Woods Apartments, and surrounding areas.
