Power Cuts in Bengaluru: No Electricity in These Areas For 4 Days Next Week

Bengaluru residents should brace for power outages in multiple areas between October 20 and 23 due to essential maintenance work. BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) has announced that the power supply will be interrupted from 10 AM to 10 PM during these days in specific parts of the city.

The outages are necessary as BESCOM undertakes urgent maintenance work at the 66/11kV Telecom Station, including replacing the 11kV Bank-2 breakers.

Bengaluru Water Supply Cut on Wednesday, October 23, 2024

The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board will undertake electrical-related work following the commissioning of the Cauvery Phase 5 drinking water project. Consequently, the 220 kV substations located in Tataguni and Harohalli will be shut down.

From 9 AM to 3 PM on October 23, 2024, there will be a complete disruption of water supply across the city of Bengaluru for a total of six hours.

The public is requested to cooperate with the board and store necessary water supplies as stated in the water board's announcement.
