Bengaluru power cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Bengaluru on January 22, 2025, (Wednesday) due to essential maintenance work. The outages are part of routine maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of the power supply in the region.

The power supply will be interrupted between 10 AM and 4 PM in the following areas:

BESCOM stated that the power cuts are necessary for emergency maintenance works at key substations, which include inspections, repairs, and upgrades to improve the power distribution network's efficiency and safety.
