Power cut in Karanataka Assembly hall: Siddaramaiah faces energy crisis
Bengaluru, March 18: Two times power cut during budget presentation in Karanataka assembly hall in Bengaluru. The state is heading towards grave energy crisis.
During two hours long budget presentation by Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah had to struggled for delivering budget session. However, the time duration of power cut was 10 minutes but it certainly made Siddaramaiah know the reality of severe power crisis which the state is reeling under.
It seems, the government's effort to mitigate power crisis is going nowhere. Daily power cuts running up to three hour is common in the state. [Karnataka budget proposes costlier fuel, liquor, soft drinks]
However, two-hours daily power cuts were announced by the state's minister earlier to balance the power shortage.
In a fresh development four engineers incharge of power supply to Assembly has reportedly been suspended by the CM.
