Power Cut In Bengaluru: Affected Areas Listed by BESCOM On November 18

Residents of several localities in Bengaluru will face power cuts on Monday, 18th November 2024, due to emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 kV Puttenahalli Substation by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The power disruption will affect the C-7 sub-division of the Hebbal division.

The power cut is scheduled to take place from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, during which time electricity supply will be temporarily interrupted.

The areas expected to be impacted by the outage include:

- Venkatal
- Palanahalli
- Katigenahalli
- Century Layout
- Anantapura Gate
- Air Force
- Marasandra
- Sriramanahalli
- Nelakunte
- Haniyuru
- Chellahalli
- Karalapur Venkatal
- Ramki North-1
- Maruti Nagar
- Prestige Nagar
- Maruti Royal Gar

In addition, areas such as Katigenahalli, Maruti Nagar, Kogilu, Pooja Mahalakshmi L/O, Saptagiri L/O, Prakruti Nagar, Srinivasapura, Ayyappa Enclave, SN Halli, Mailapanahalli, and nearby localities will also experience a power cut.

BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) has informed the public through an official notice, urging residents to prepare for the temporary disruption in service. The maintenance work is essential for improving the overall power distribution network and restoring efficient service to these areas.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and plan their activities accordingly during the outage window.
