Politician pops who were left 'embarassed' by their children's acts (In Pics)
Bangalore, Aug 28: A number of Indian politicians have found themselves in a spot in recent times after their sons' names were found involved in various controversies.
While Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi faced flak over his son's alleged sexual escapade with a policewoman earlier this month, on Wednesday, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh became emotional after his son was accused of taking bribe. On Thursday, Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda found himself in the middle of a controversy after his son was accused of cheating and raping a model-actor. While Rajnath Singh said he would quit politics if the integrity of his family was questioned, Sadananda Gowda said his son had been falsely implicated.
Earlier in August, police filed charges against Telangana Rashtra Samiti MP K Kavita, the daughter of state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, for remarking that Telangana was not a part of India and was forcefully annexed to India like Jammu and Kashmir.
Here are some of the politician fathers who were left in an embarrassing position because of their children's act.
