Powerful storm rocks Bengaluru, many trees uprooted

Bengaluru, April 30: Rains in Bengaluru can prove to be quite fatal. It can take just a matter of minutes for Mother Nature to unleash her fury.

On Friday evening heavy rains combined with strong winds lashed many parts of Bengaluru. Within a matter of minutes trees were uprooted in Jayanagar and surrounding areas.

Bengaluru has been witnessing heavy rainfall for the past one week. Last week's rains uprooted more than 90 tress across the city.
