Parameshwara declines to comment on Gauri Lankesh murder case
Karnataka Deputy CM and Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara refused to comment on the ongoing investigation into the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh.

Speaking to ANI after participating in Eid celebrations in Bengaluru, Parameshwara, said, " I do not want to reveal anything as the investigation is going on, any statements of mine shouldn't affect the investigation. Once the probe is complete charge-sheet will be drawn-up and further process of law will take place."
The SIT, during a press conference on Friday, claimed that Parashuram Waghmare, the last of the six suspects arrested in connection with the Gauri Lankesh killing, was her alleged assassin.
"Waghmare had shot Lankesh and the forensic report has confirmed that (rationalists) Govind Pansare, MM Kalburgi and Lankesh were murdered with the same weapon," an SIT official was quoted as saying by PTI. However, the SIT is yet to trace the murder weapon.
