"Adam's reckless driving prompted Rahul, who was coming behind him, to honk in protest. However, this honking angered Adam, leading to a confrontation. Adam, in the midst of the argument, warned Rahul of his influential connections. Simultaneously, a call was made to the emergency number 112 by a person named Ram, reporting the incident, and the police promptly arrived at the scene," DCP Lakshmiprasad told the reporters.

The senior cop said that it was evident that Adam was heavily intoxicated. "Despite our attempts to pacify him, he engaged in an altercation with the police officers as well. Eventually, we managed to defuse the situation and took everyone to the police station. Subsequently, Rahul lodged a complaint against Adam for making threats and reckless driving," Lakshmiprasad added.

Rahul has also alleged that Adam used offensive language against him. Adam's vehicle was dangerously close to collision, as per the complaint.

A case has been filed against Bidapa, invoking multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code. These include Section 279 (related to reckless driving on a public road), Section 341 (pertaining to wrongful restraint), Section 504 (concerning intentional insult aimed at inciting a breach of peace), and Section 506 (involving charges of criminal intimidation).

The traffic police additionally filed a case of driving under the influence against Adam, as his breathalyzer test yielded positive results. A traffic police officer said that Adam's blood alcohol level was recorded at 127mg/100ml, exceeding the allowable limit of 30mg/100ml.
