Obscene Videos Case: Prajwal Revanna Sent To SIT Custody For 6 Days
Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna was remanded to six days in police custody on Friday. Revanna, arrested in connection with an obscene video case, was taken to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru for a medical examination. Following the examination, he was brought before the 42nd ACMM court judge at the City Civil Court.
According to ANI, Revanna was remanded to six days of police custody. Earlier, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) requested custody of Revanna. The SIT also filed an application in the High Court questioning the bail granted to HD Revanna in a separate kidnapping case involving a woman from Mysuru.

The Hassan MP was arrested by the SIT on Thursday night at Bengaluru Airport. Revanna has been implicated in three separate cases of sexual assault, with additional charges of rape filed against him. In the initial case filed on April 28 at the Holenarasipura Town police station in Hassan, he faces allegations of sexually harassing a 47-year-old former housemaid. He is listed as accused number two in this case, while his father, Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna, is listed as accused number one.
Prajwal Revanna had been absconding, leading to the issuance of a Blue Corner notice against him. He was apprehended minutes after landing at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, having left India on April 27 after the first phase of polling in the state.
On May 29, Prajwal filed an anticipatory bail application at the Principal City and Sessions Court for Elected Representatives. The court issued a notice to the SIT to submit objections, scheduling the hearing for Friday.
