New Vande Bharat Express To Connect Bengaluru And Hyderabad: Latest Updates
The much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express, connecting the technological hubs of Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is likely to be flagged off in August, as per multiple media reports. This will mark the third Vande Bharat Express for both Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Railway officials quoted in the reports stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the express train on either August 6 or August 15. The train will operate between Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru and Kacheguda in Hyderabad.

According to a report in Deccan Herald, the Vande Bharat Express is projected to reduce the travel time between the two cities to approximately seven hours. Presently, the Duronto Express train connects the two cities but takes two hours longer than the Vande Bharat.
A South Central Railway (SCR) official informed that trial runs are currently underway. "We have been conducting a trial run between Kacheguda and Dhone for the last two days," said the unnamed official as reported by the daily. "We will start the train as soon as we get a full-fledged trainset."
Previously, the Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, the second one to operate in Karnataka, was inaugurated by PM Modi on June 27. Additionally, another Vande Bharat Express currently operates between Chennai and Mysuru.
