IT czar Nandan Nilekani files nomination papers from Bangalore South

He declared his assets at Rs 7,700 crore while filing his affidavit with the electoral officer. "I have made my money through honest means. It is all in public domain, there is nothing to hide. This is the way I want to lead my life," he said.
The Bangalore billionaire has already launched campaign in the Bangalore South Lok Sabha constituency and is rigorously working with the youth for a better Bangalore.
Issues of public transport, education and water supply will be some of the areas of focus during his election campaign.
The 58-year-old billionaire neta is testing the political waters for the first time on a Congress ticket against five-time BJP MP Ananth Kumar.
Nilekani is one of the richest candidate in the country.
