Namma Metro Update: BMRCL Offers 5 AM Service From Majestic, Plus Short Loop Trains

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is set to launch short loop train services during morning peak hours starting from February 26, 2024. These services will operate between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station (Majestic) and Garudacharpalya Namma Metro Stations. The initiative aims to cater to a large number of commuters traveling towards Trinity, Indiranagar, Benniganahalli, and K.R. Pura Metro stations.

Commuters can expect trains to be available every three minutes in this section between 8:45 am and 10:20 am on all working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and general holidays. This move is expected to significantly improve the travel experience for passengers during peak hours.

In addition, Bangalore Metro will introduce the first train service from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station (Majestic) towards all directions at 5:00 am on all days of the week, except Sundays. This early morning service is aimed at providing convenience to passengers arriving in Bangalore city early in the morning through Indian Railways or intercity buses.
