During routine checks, it became evident that he was under the influence of alcohol, thereby violating regulations that prohibit intoxicated individuals from entering the station premises. Despite this, he forcefully attempted entry, falsely claiming affiliation with the defense platform.

A confrontation ensued when the metro staff intervened, seeking to prevent Chandrasekhar's unauthorized entry. He resorted to verbal abuse and physically assaulted the staff member, leading to a disturbance that attracted the attention of onlookers. Prompt intervention from bystanders helped quell the altercation.

A formal complaint has been lodged against Chandrasekhar at the Bagalgunte police station, citing the assault on the metro staff member obstructing his duties.

The police have initiated a case of assault and are actively pursuing the investigation into the incident.
