How to Retrieve Lost Items?
If you lose an item on Namma Metro, there's no need to worry-you can easily get it back. Here's how:
1. If you forget an item, such as a bag, on the train, visit the Namma Metro website.
2. Click on "Grievance" on the homepage and log in.
3. Select the type of item you lost.
4. Choose the station where you lost the item.
5. Provide complete details about your item, along with your mobile number and name.
6. Upload a photo of the lost item and click "Submit."
7. If the item has been found by BMRCL officials, they will contact you to verify the details. Upon confirming your information, your item will be returned.
Alternative Option:
- Click on "Travel Info," then select "Lost and Pay." Here, you will find helpline numbers for the Green and Purple lines. Contact them to report your lost item, or call the Metro helpline.
Where to Collect Lost Items?
Lost items can be collected from Yeshwantpur or Baiyappanahalli stations, where they will be held for 24 hours. After confirming the location of your item, you can pick it up.
If items found on the train or at the station are not claimed, they are auctioned every six months.
