Namma Metro Launches Smart Luggage Lockers At THESE Stations

In an exciting move to make commuting more convenient, Bengaluru Metro has introduced a new service that will surely come as a relief to many travelers - smart digital luggage lockers. Starting today, passengers can securely store their luggage at selected metro stations, freeing them from the burden of carrying it while traveling around the city.

The new digital lockers, powered by SafeCloak, are currently available at key metro stations, including Majestic and a few others. This means that you can now store your bags while you take your metro ride without worrying about your belongings. Simply place your luggage in the locker, lock it with a personal code, and head to your destination. When you return, just enter the same code to get your luggage back.

The best part? The locker service is affordable - just ₹70 for medium-sized luggage for up to 6 hours and ₹100 for larger bags. And if you're wondering about help or support, don't worry! A staff member will be on hand at the locker stations to assist if needed.

Which Stations Are Offering This Service?

For now, you can find these smart lockers at three stations: Majestic (Nadarprabhu Kempegowda Station), Chickpete, and Benniganahalli. BMRC (Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation) officials have assured that the service will soon be available across more stations, depending on how well it's received by passengers.
