Namma Metro Green Line Extension Update: Signaling Tests Start August 13, Launch Planned For September
Due to signaling tests scheduled from August 13 to August 15 on 3.14-km stretch Namma Metro Green Line between Nagasandra and Madavara (BIEC), there will be changes to the train service timings between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra metro stations.
On August 13, the last train will run at 10 PM instead of 11 PM. On August 14, train services will start at 6 AM instead of 5 AM, and the last train will run at 10 PM instead of 11 PM. On August 15, services will start at 6 AM instead of 5 AM.

On August 13 and 14, the last train service from Nagasandra will end at 10 PM instead of 11:30 PM. On August 14 and 15, the first train service from Nagasandra will start at 6 AM instead of 5 AM.
From Peenya Industry to the Silk Institute metro stations, the last train service on August 13 and 14 will run until 11:12 PM. On August 14 and 15, the first train service from Peenya Industry to the Silk Institute metro stations will start at 5 AM.
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that services on the Namma Metro's purple line will remain unchanged.
Following successful signaling tests, a final inspection by the metro rail safety commissioner's team will be conducted. After this, commercial operations will begin on the extension route, expanding the current 30.32 km Green Line to 34 km. The construction of this extension has faced delays over the past five years, and final inspections are now underway for public operations.
