More Heat For BJP MP Pratap Simha, Involves Crores This Time, Read What Happened
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Simha, who came to the spotlight after the Parliament security breach, is likely to face some heat concerning another case now. According to the reports, MP Pratap Simha's brother Vikram Simha has been held by the forest department for smuggling 126 trees worth crores. The reports said he was arrested by the Central Crime Branch's Organised Crime wing for illegally cutting and selling trees.
An official told the media that Vikram Simha has been held based on "available documentary evidence" which hints at his involvement in organized crime.

Vikram Simha was on a run for a long time and was nabbed on Sunday after a joint operation by the forest department and Central Crime Branch's Organised Crime Wing, who used electronic surveillance to track him down.
Reports added that the sleuths will now take Vikram to Hassan for further investigation.
Hitting out at the BJP MP and his brother, Youth Congress President Srinivas BV said, "BJP's Simha brothers have brought disgrace to Karnataka & Nation. One facilitated a security breach in the Parliament, and the other destroyed the environment by cutting down 126 trees & smuggled wood from 8-acre land belonging to the Forest Department. What a shame!"
The arrest of Vikram Simha is surely going to affect MP Pratap Simha's image again. The lawmaker had signed the entry pass for one of the intruders who jumped into the area where MPs sit from the viewer's gallery on December 13.
The Opposition has been asking for an explanation from the MP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the Parliament's Security Breach incident that shocked the nation.
