Vipin Gupta Missing For 11 Days Traced In Noida Mall; Bengaluru Man's Appearance Triggers New Mysteries

A 37-year-old tech professional from Lucknow, Vipin Gupta, who went missing from Bengaluru on August 4, has been traced and secured in a mall near Noida, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North East Division, Bengaluru, Sajeeth VJ.The DCP revealed that Gupta had altered his appearance, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Earlier, Gupta's wife had taken to Facebook in a desperate plea for help, expressing concern for her husband's safety. She had filed an FIR but claimed that the police had made little progress in locating him. Gupta's Kawasaki Ninja bike, green in color, was discovered at the Motherhood Hospital parking lot in Hebbal, but no CCTV footage had been reviewed as of the time of her post.

In an emotional video, she disclosed that ₹1.8 lakh had been withdrawn from Gupta's account just 25 minutes after he went missing. His phone, registered under the number 97********4, had been switched off since 2 PM on the day of his disappearance.

Living in Bengaluru with her two daughters, aged five months and fourteen years, she emphasized that Gupta was in danger, particularly given the significant withdrawal from his account. "I'm 100 per cent sure he's in danger," she said. "He loves his daughters deeply and would never abandon them."

The police continue to investigate the situation, looking into the reasons behind Gupta's disappearance and ensuring his safety.
