'Masti Gudi' tragedy: FIR against crew members
FIR, mainly, under sections 304(A) and 308 has been filed against the film's stunt director Ravivarma and director Nagashekhar.
Ramanagara police on Tuesday filed an FIR against crew members of 'Masti Gudi' movie after 2 of its actors lost their lives attempting an action sequence on Monday afternoon. The FIR was filed after T G Halli reservoir dam's director filed a formal complaint with the local police.

FIR, mainly, under sections 304(A) and 308 has been filed against the film's stunt director Ravivarma and director Nagashekhar. The FIR also includes names of the film's producer and assistant director who was managing the unit on that fateful day.

Uday and Anil, 2 actors drowned even as the film's crew watched them helplessly after an action sequence shot went awry. The film's lead and popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay who jumped into the water with the deceased actors, had a narrow escape.
The crew is accused of flouting norms, not taking safety and precautionary measures and utter negligence causing the death of 2 actors. Prominent names from the industry took to social media sites to express grief and anger about the incident.

Teams of NDRF continued to search for the bodies of both actors on Tuesday. Scuba diving teams with the help of underwater cameras are being used to look for the bodies. Big names from the Kannada film industry arrived at T G Halli reservoir on Tuesday to help in search operations.
