Madhu Kishwar cautions PM Narendra Modi
New Delhi, May 27: Academic and activist Madhu Kishwar on Tuesday said on Twitter that Narendra Modi would be judged by his work as the prime minister from now on and the goodwill that he has earned as the chief minister of Gujarat over the years couldn't be taken for granted any longer.

Kishwar also took an indirect dig at the decision to make Smriti Irani the Human Resources Minister, saying a lightweight couldn't deal with the challenges that the education sector is facing today. She also said in a tweet that the HRD ministry deserves a heavyweight who can deal with CMs, VCs and research institutions, which are mostly "citadels of left extremism."

Kishwar also clarified in another tweet that she has nothing against Irani or anybody else for getting a particular portfolio and was expressing her concerns in key areas.

Kishwar, who wrote a book on Modi recently, also asked the admirers of Modi not to try to make her silent when she is expressing 'honest opinion'. "Treat me as "opposition" camp from now on, if you like," she said.
