'Love' and 'Dhoka' cost father's life

Bangalore, Sept 4: A love story gone wrong ended up in the girl refusing to recognise the boy, landing him in the lock-up and his father in the hospital. Reminding one of the Rizwanur Rahman case in West Bengal, this case has not yet taken an unpleasant turn.

Cut to scene 1: One Ramya from Bangalore met Deviprasad from Madikeri district, fell in love and got married. The family was flooded with problems, thereafter. The girl's father, the driver to Bangalore DCP, pulled strings and complained to the Siddhapura police station. Following this, the police arrested the boy from Madikeri and in the scuffle between the two, Deviprasad's father got injured.

Cut to scene 2: Here comes the twist (much to the shock and dismay of Deviprasad's family members), Ramya now denies that she knows Deviprasad. In fact, she claims that she never visited Madikeri and neither is she married to him.

She further claims that Deviprasad is a fraud and a murderer from Jharkhand. His friend, however, denies all allegations by Ramya and cries foul play.

A complicated love story, the incident has taken the media on a frenzy. Meanwhile, Deviprasad has been produced in court and his father, TS Somshekhar, passed away in the hospital today morning.
