Chatra: In 2009, Independent candidate Inder Singh Namdhaari defeated Congress's Dhiraj Prasad Sahu by 16,178 votes. The difference in vote-share was 3.4%.
Lohardaga (ST): In 2009, BJP's Sudarshan Bhagat defeated Chamra Linda, an Independent, by 8,283 votes. The difference in vote-share was 1.6%.
Palamau (SC): In 2009, JMM's Kameshwar Baitha defeated RJD's Ghuran Ram by 23,538 votes. The difference in vote-share was 3.6%.
Kodarma: In 2009, JVM(P)'s Babulal Marandi defeated CPI(M-L)(L) Raj Kumar Yadav by 48,520 votes. The difference in vote-share was 6.2%.
The polling in Hazaribagh was postponed till April 17 because of Ram Navamai, a religious festival.
