Lashkar goes on a fund raising spree citing war threat from India
Bengaluru, Sept 27: As tensions rise between India and Paksitan, the Lashkar-e-Taiba is on a fund raising spree. The Lashkar-e-Taiba which raises funds through its so-called charity wing, Jamaat-ud-Dawa has been going around seeking money and is telling people that this is needed to fight the war against India.
With India upping the ante against Pakistan, there has been a surge in the activity at Balochistan, Khyber region and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). Intelligence Bureau officials report a surge of activity which includes large scale recruitments being carried out by the ISI and its stooges.
Fund raising drive
The fund raising drive is being carried out by operatives of both the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammad. There are reports that its operatives are collecting money from the people while citing a war against India. In this war against India, the operatives tell people that all must fight.
On the other hand, the ISI has increased activity in PoK and Balochistan. The stooges of the ISI have been threatening people with dire consequences if they stand with India in the event of a war.
Further the ISI is also recruiting cadres and parking them in these areas. This is being done with an intention of watching over the people who support India, intelligence bureau officials say.
Reports also suggest that Pakistan had also scrambled their F-16s over Balochistan with an intention of causing fear among the people.
Intelligence Bureau officials say that the Pakistan establishment is taking all support from terror outfits such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammad in the event of any war. For now these groups have been asked to collect funds and also watch over the people in Balochistan and PoK who are demanding independence from Paksitan.
