Srinivas, Close Aide of Former Speaker Ramesh Kumar, Brutally Murdered In Kolar

Srinivas, a Congress leader from Congress in Kolar, was ruthlessly assassinated by unknown assailants.

Srinivas was a trusted associate of the former Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 am, resulting in grave injuries to Srinivas, primarily to his head and chest.

According to media accounts, a group of six individuals assailed him and swiftly fled the scene. He was rushed to Kolar's RL Jalappa Hospital, where doctors said he was dead. The local authorities have launched an investigation and are actively seeking those responsible for this heinous crime.

An eyewitness by the name of Amar reported that the perpetrators arrived on two motorcycles and used deadly weapons to carry out the attack.

Srinivas, a former leader hailing from Srinivaspura and a former District Panchayat President.
