Karnataka Weather Update: IMD Issues Severe Cold Wave Alert In THESE Districts

Karnataka is experiencing a resurgence of cold weather acros- s various regions. The weather patterns have been unpredictable due to the influence of a cyclone, bringing different conditions each day.

A severe cold wave alert has been issued by IMD for the districts of Bidar, Kalaburagi, and Raichur in northern Karnataka, with temperatures predicted to drop significantly below normal in the coming days.

Since January 20, the state has witnessed a noticeable shift in temperatures, with chilly conditions reported in districts such as Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Dharwad, Bidar, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, and Yadgiri.

Bidar recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 10.0°C, signaling a significant drop. However, no major changes in weather patterns were observed across the state.
