Karnataka Weather: Bengaluru To Witness Showers From December 13: IMD Issues Yellow Alert

Heavy rains continue to affect Karnataka, with Cyclone Fengal causing significant disruption. Another cyclone is expected to bring rain to various parts of the state, including Bengaluru, from 13th December for four days. A yellow alert has been issued for several districts such as Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Bangalore Rural, and Bangalore City.

Weather Alerts and Rainfall

Moderate rainfall is anticipated in regions like Mysore, Mandya, Hassan, Davangere, Chamarajanagar, and Haveri. Meanwhile, dry weather will persist in other areas. Rainfall was recorded in places like Hadagali, Puttur, Annigere, Harpanahalli, Uppinangadi, Bailahongala, Mulki, Panambur, Hunsagi, Gadag, Mudagal, Badami, Munirabad, Balehonnur, Jayapura and Sringeri.

Chamarajanagar experienced the lowest temperature at 16.6°C. In Bengaluru today, the weather remains cloudy. HAL recorded a maximum temperature of 28.7°C and a minimum of 17.9°C. The city saw temperatures ranging from 18.9°C to 29.8°C.

Temperature Variations Across Karnataka

KIAL reported a high of 30.8°C and a low of 18.6°C. GKVK registered temperatures between 19.8°C and 30.0°C. Honnavar's maximum temperature reached 33.7°C with a minimum of 22.2°C.

Karwar recorded temperatures from 21.7°C to 33.6°C while Shirali had a high of 32.4°C and a low of 18.6°C. Panambur's maximum was noted at 32.9°C with a minimum of 24.1°C.

Belgaum experienced temperatures between 19.5°C and 29.0°C while Bidar ranged from 19.6°C to 29.5°C.

Temperature Readings in Northern Districts

Vijayapur recorded temperatures from a low of 19.4°C to a high of 31.0°C while Bagalkot saw readings between 20.7°C and 32.6°C.
