Karnataka Weather Alert: Will Bengaluru See A Transition In Monsoon? Here's Rain Forecast

Bengaluru residents enjoyed a pleasant and breezy Wednesday morning with mostly cloudy skies. The temperature was a comfortable 24°C at 9:30 am. However, according to weather blogger Vijay, this pleasant weather may be short-lived.

Vijay, from the popular blog "Namma Karnataka Weather," predicts today might be the last day before Bengaluru experiences a shift to "Very Active Monsoon" conditions. This could bring typical fast-moving monsoon rains later.

Bengaluru weather: Rain Expected Throughout the Week

Weather agencies have predicted rain for Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka for the rest of the week. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) expects scattered light rain in Bengaluru with highs of 30°C and lows of 21°C.

Yellow Alert Issued for Some Areas

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a "yellow" alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds for several districts across Karnataka, including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, and Belagavi. Rainfall is also predicted to continue in many parts of the state until June 17th.
