Karnataka Weather Alert: Thunderstorms And Rain Expected In 7 Districts Including Kodagu
A yellow alert has been issued for South Interior and Coastal Karnataka on March 26, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds reaching speeds of 40-50 km/h, according to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC).

Weather Forecast
The state is set to experience cloudy conditions today i.e March 26, with scattered moderate rainfall expected in coastal and Malnad districts. Meanwhile, South Interior and North Interior Karnataka are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall in some areas.
Dry conditions are expected to persist in most parts of Karnataka for the next five days.
District-wise Rainfall Prediction
Rain is likely in the following districts:
Coastal Karnataka & Malnad Region: Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, Kodagu, Hassan, and Chikkamagaluru.
On the other hand, dry weather will continue in Bagalkot, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Ballari, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Tumakuru, and Vijayanagar districts.
Several places, including Afzalpur, Lingasugur, Sagar, Indi, and Bellur, have already received rainfall.
With rainfall expected in some parts and dry conditions in others, residents should stay prepared for changing weather patterns in the coming days.
