Karnataka Shocker: Robbers Shoot Two Security Guards And Steal ₹93 Lakh From ATM In Bidar
In a daring daylight robbery on Thursday, two security guards were fatally shot by armed assailants in Bidar, Karnataka. The incident occurred at the bustling Shivaji Chowk, located in the heart of Bidar, as the guards were preparing to refill an SBI ATM with ₹93 lakh in cash.

The victims, identified as Giri Venkatesh and Shiva Kashinath, were employees of CMS Agency, which is responsible for ATM cash refills. Police reports indicate that the robbers, riding a motorcycle, shot the guards with eight rounds of gunfire to carry out the crime.
Responding quickly, local police arrived at the scene, securing the area and barricading nearby roads to prevent further complications. Multiple investigation teams have been formed to track down the perpetrators behind this brutal heist.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence to piece together the sequence of events. While no arrests have been made so far, police remain optimistic about a swift breakthrough in the case.
