Karnataka Rains: Clear Skies In Bengaluru Today, Yellow Alert Issued By IMD From October 21

Bengaluru experienced a pleasant morning today, with clear skies and warm temperatures. However, weather forecasts indicate that rain is likely to begin on October 21, prompting authorities to issue a yellow alert for several districts. The alert covers Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Ballari, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolar, Tumkur, and Vijayanagara districts.

Rainfall has already been reported in various regions, including Davanagere, Chitradurga, Haveri, Kundapura, Hirekerur, Hunsur, Shirali, Kirawatti, Shiggaon, Manki, Gokarna, Shorapur, Naragund, Naikanahatti, Yellapur, Nanjangud, Kadra, Gabburu, Bailahongal, and Badami.

Heavy rains has been observed in Belagavi, Ankola, Karwar, Gerusoppa, Mudgal, Lokapur, Bhadravati, Kadur, Kote, Almatti, Kumta, Haliyala, Dharmasthala, Muddebihal, Raichur, Sedam, Honnavar, Kushtagi, Khajuri, Dharwad, Saidapur, Kundagol, Chikkodi, and Gokak.

In the latest weather statistics, Jevargi, Madhugiri, Linganamakki, Kudatini, Hosadurga, Doddaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Belluru, and Tyagarajapura have also experienced rainfall. Notably, Karwar recorded a maximum temperature of 31.08 degrees Celsius, while Shirali noted a minimum temperature of 16.8 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru remains sunny, with HAL reporting a maximum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 19.4 degrees Celsius. Other areas in the city recorded temperatures of 22.1 degrees Celsius (maximum) and 20.4 degrees Celsius (minimum), as well as 24.6 degrees Celsius (maximum) and 20.5 degrees Celsius (minimum) at KIAL. JKSHIM reported a maximum of 24.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.4 degrees Celsius.

In surrounding areas, Honnavar had a maximum temperature of 30.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23.0 degrees Celsius. Karwar recorded a high of 31.8 degrees Celsius and a low of 23.8 degrees Celsius, while Shirali noted a maximum of 31.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 16.8 degrees Celsius. The coastal town of Panambur recorded a maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 21.3 degrees Celsius.

Further inland, Bidar recorded a maximum temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22.4 degrees Celsius. Vijayapura had a high of 27.5 degrees Celsius and a low of 19.6 degrees Celsius, while Bagalkot recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius (maximum) and 22.3 degrees Celsius (minimum).

In the northern districts, Dharwad registered a maximum of 26.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.0 degrees Celsius. Gadag noted a maximum of 25.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.8 degrees Celsius. Kalaburagi recorded a high of 30.5 degrees Celsius and a low of 23.8 degrees Celsius, while Haveri recorded 25.6 degrees Celsius (maximum) and 20.8 degrees Celsius (minimum). Finally, Koppal had a high of 25.2 degrees Celsius and a low of 23.2 degrees Celsius, and Raichur registered a maximum of 28.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22.8 degrees Celsius.
