Karnataka New Liquor Prices Out: Here’s How Much More You’ll Pay For 90 ml, 180 ml And 750 ml Bottles

Karnataka Liquor Price List: The Karnataka Excise Department has introduced a new Alcohol-in-Beverage (AIB)-based excise duty system, resulting in revised liquor prices across Karnataka. Under the updated taxation structure, the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of several whisky, rum, vodka, gin and brandy brands has been revised across multiple bottle sizes including 90 ml, 180 ml and 750 ml packs.

The revised pricing structure applies to both economy and premium liquor categories notified under Slab-1 to Slab-7 by the excise department.

Several widely consumed liquor brands have now witnessed revised prices under the new Karnataka liquor policy. These include:

Budget Liquor Prices Revised In Karnataka

Under Slab-1, economy brands have seen revised rates for 750 ml bottles:

Carnival XXX Rum - ₹385
Black Belt Fine Old Whisky - ₹385
DK Double Kick Fine Whisky - ₹395
Bangalore Whisky/Brandy/Rum - ₹395
Green Champion Superior Whisky & Brandy - ₹420
Royal Gold Cup Extra Smooth Whisky - ₹420

For smaller bottles, most 90 ml packs are now priced between ₹45 and ₹55, while 180 ml bottles range from ₹90 to ₹105.

Mid-Range Whisky, Rum And Brandy Prices

Under Slab-2, several mid-range liquor brands now fall within the ₹425 to ₹485 range for 750 ml bottles.

Meanwhile, brands such as McDowell's No.1 Celebration Classic XXX Rum, Honey Bee Premium Indian Brandy and Original Choice Star Supreme Whisky have also witnessed revised pricing for smaller pack sizes.

Under higher slabs, several premium mass-market brands have also become costlier.

Officials said the revised AIB-based excise duty structure has now come into effect across Karnataka and is expected to influence liquor retail pricing across both urban and rural markets.
