Karnataka Holiday List 2024: Sankranthi, Diwali & More
The government employees in Karnataka will get 21 days of holidays, in addition to their regular offs.
Starting with Makara Sankranti on January 15, they will get two holidays in the month of January. In March, there are two holidays (Maha Shivaratri and Good Friday).

Likewise, April and May will each feature two holidays, granting government employees an extra day off for three consecutive months. However, a noteworthy increase in holidays is expected in October, with four holidays, and November, with three.
However, there are four holidays in October and three in November.
It has to be noted that each state will have its calendar of events. Hence, the holidays might vary from state to state. For example, November 1 is celebrated as Kannada Rajyotsava in Karnataka and it is a state holiday, but this does not apply to the other parts of the country.
As Karnataka government employees look forward to these extended breaks in 2024, the initiative underscores the state's commitment to employee well-being and acknowledges the diversity in cultural celebrations observed throughout the country.
