With consistent rains in Wayanad, Kerala, and the Cauvery basin in Karnataka, the dams continued to receive significant inflows on Sunday. The Kabini dam has reached its full capacity, and excess water continued to be released. A flood alert has been issued, and residents near the riverbanks have been advised to move to safer locations.
