Karnataka Boy Flunks All Subjects In Class 10 Board Exams, Parents Cut Cake To Boost Morale

An adage goes, "every cloud has a silver lining". It was a disappointing outcome for Karnataka's Abhishek Cholachagudda, but far from the end of the world-especially for his parents who chose to focus on the positives and held on to the age-old belief in perseverance.

According to NDTV, Cholachagudda, a student of Basaveshwar English Medium School in Bagalkot scored only 200 out of 600 marks (approximately 32%) and flunked in all six subjects of his Class 10 board exams.

While his peers, as expected, ridiculed him for his poor performance, Abhishek's parents chose a different path.

Rather than reprimanding or shaming him, they celebrated the moment with a cake and a small gathering to lift his spirits.

"You may have failed in exams, but not in life. You can always try again and succeed next time," his parents reassured him.

Deeply touched by their support, Abhishek said, "Even though I failed, my family encouraged me. I will sit the exam again, pass, and succeed in life."
