Kannada Actor Vijay Raghavendra's Wife Spandana Dies Of Heart Attack

Spandana Ragavendra, the wife of Kannada actor Vijay Raghavendra, tragically passed away due to a heart attack at a hospital in Bangkok. According to reports, the incident took place while she was with her family in Thailand. Reports suggest that Vijay Raghavendra's wife had low blood pressure, which led to the heart attack. Her body is expected to arrive in Bangalore tomorrow, where all the necessary formalities will be conducted.

Vijay Raghavendra and Spandana got married on 26th August 2007. Spandana, the daughter of retired Assistant Commissioner of Police B. K. Shivaram, was of Tulu descent. Together, they had a son named Shourya and a daughter.

Spandana made a guest appearance in the movie "Apoorva," which was released in 2016.

The recent increase in heart attack cases has been a cause of concern, with several celebrities, including Puneeth Rajkumar, also succumbing to heart attacks. Spandana's sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the industry and among her loved ones. This unfortunate incident occurred merely 19 days before they could celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary.

Vijay Raghavendra is currently in Bengaluru, where he was supposed to participate in the promotion of his upcoming film, Kadda, which is set to release on August 25. However, his plans have been put on hold as wife, Spandana, passed away suddenly in Bangkok on Sunday.

Spandana's father, BK Shivaram, has already departed for Bangkok to bring her body back to India. Her mortal remains are expected to be repatriated on Tuesday.

Vijay's cousin, Puneeth Rajkumar, was a celebrated Kannada actor who passed away in October 2021 due to a heart attack. The family is going through another painful loss, and their friends and well-wishers are extending their heartfelt condolences.
