Kannada Actor Darshan's Son, Vineesh Thoogudeepa, Requests Fans Outside Hosakerehalli Residence to Go Home
In a heartfelt message to fans, Vineesh Thoogudeepa, son of popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, has requested that fan respect the family's privacy following a recent court order related to his father's ongoing legal issues. The actor was granted interim bail earlier this week after being embroiled in the high-profile Renuka Swamy murder case, a situation that has garnered significant media attention and public scrutiny.

Vineesh's plea comes in light of the disturbance caused by the large gatherings of fans outside their residence. While the family appreciates the support from fans, Vineesh emphasized the need for peace during this challenging time, highlighting how the overwhelming presence of supporters has created a chaotic environment. "We are grateful for the love and support, but we ask that everyone please give us some space to navigate this situation," he stated.
The court's ruling has put a spotlight on the family, and Vineesh's request reflects their desire to manage the situation with dignity. He urged fans to honor the legal process and to avoid any disruptions that could interfere with the ongoing investigation.
Kannada film star Darshan, who was imprisoned in Ballari Central Prison in connection with the Chitradurga-based Renukaswamy murder case, was granted bail on Wednesday evening, October 30, 2024.
The High Court of Karnataka approved his interim bail for six weeks on medical grounds earlier that day. The bail order reached the Ballari jail by 5:00 p.m., prompting the jail authorities to expedite the release procedures. By 6:00 p.m., Darshan stepped out of Bellary jail and completed the necessary paperwork before stepping outside.
As he exited the prison, police personnel facilitated Darshan's safe boarding of his car amidst a cheering crowd of fans who raised slogans in support of their favorite actor. To avoid the throngs of admirers, Darshan opted for a route that took him through Anantapur, Penukonda, Hindupuram, Gauribidanur, and Doddaballapur to Bengaluru. Ballari police provided security for approximately 25 kilometers, from Ballari to the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border.
