Kalaburagi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat: Ticket Price, Train Timings, Stoppages & More
Karnataka is getting its sixth Vande Bharat as the Indian Railways is set to flag off a new train between Kalaburagi-Bengaluru from March 9.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the train service between the two places on Monday, Gulbarga MP Umesh Jadhav said. Although the Prime Minister's office has not announced the date, an official from the Central Railway's Solapur division has confirmed the development to Deccan Herald and said that got instructions for the inauguration.

Train Timings
As per Jadhav, the train is expected to depart from Kalaburagi around 5:30 am, arriving at KSR Bengaluru around 2:00 pm. The return trip will commence at 2:30 pm, reaching Kalaburagi by 11:00 pm.
The same source has informed that the train will be maintained in Bengaluru as Kalaburagi lacks the necessary facility. "It will be similar to the Solapur-Mumbai CST Vande Bharat Express, which starts at Solapur but is maintained in Mumbai," the daily quoted the official as saying.
Train Fare & Distance
As per the reports, the price of a ticket is likely to be around Rs 1500 to cover a distance of kms.
The Vande Bharat will cover the distance in eight hours at less than half the cost. The Solapur-Hassan Express currently holds the title of the fastest train connecting the two cities, completing the 543 km journey in 9 hours and 10 minutes. The Vande Bharat will take just eight hours.
Stoppages
The inaugural train will make stops at Shahabad, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralaya, Adoni, Guntkal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, and Yelahanka en route to its final destination.
