TN CM Jayalalithaa found guilty in DA case
According PTI, the court convicted Jayalalithaa in the 18-year-old case. She will be disqualified as an MLA for 6 years and is likely to go to prison for 2 years. Quantum of sentence will be announced later, reports suggested.
She along with her aide Sasikala are charged with accumulating Rs 66 crore wealth disproportionate to known sources of her income from 1991-96 in her first term as Chief Minister.
