Indiranagar Serial Killer Arrested From Bengaluru Hoskote After Week-Long Hunt
Almost a week after a former rowdy-sheeter went on a slashing spree in Indiranagar, stabbing five people, he was arrested on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday.
The police tracked down the accused, Kadamba, to Hoskote. He frequently changed his location with logistical help from his family. Authorities monitored his family members closely, which eventually led them to his hideout, sources said.

In connection with the case, the police have also arrested his father, Suresh, elder brother, Vishnu, and sister, Sushmitha-all residents of Old Binnamangala-for harboring him.
Investigations revealed that on the day of the attacks, Kadamba had a heated argument with his family over their refusal to give him money for alcohol. Enraged, he stormed out of the house and began attacking people indiscriminately.
His spree saw him slashing four individuals-all targeted in the neck-within a span of thirty minutes in Indiranagar over trivial disputes. His victims included a security guard, a 19-year-old youth, and two pani puri vendors.
Later, he attacked a bike-taxi driver, snatched his vehicle, and fled. Though a Hoysala patrolling team spotted him, he managed to evade capture.
Kadamba was last seen at a medical store in Hoskote, where he attempted to con the shopkeeper. However, he fled when the shopkeeper raised an alarm.
After an intensive search operation, he was finally arrested in Hoskote.
Kadamba, who is in his mid-twenties, has a history of assault and mobile theft. A rowdy sheet was opened against him at the Indiranagar police station in May 2024. However, it was later closed after he furnished a bond of ₹1 lakh, promising good behavior.
