Indigo flight hits runway lights, passengers have a narrow escape

The plane landed amidst heavy rain and air traffic was closed for about two hours at the airport post the incident.
All the passengers and the crew were safe with no injuries and were taken off the plane safely, reported an Indigo official said.
The Airbus A-320, opearting Indigo flight 6E-125 veered off and hit five runway lights, which lead to its tyre deflation. The aircraft suffered damages and has been grounded for maintainance, officials said.
They added saying that poor visibility due to rains may have led to the incident but quickly added that only an investigation into the matter can tell us the exact cause.
No fatalities were reported from the incident.
