Indigo Airlines Introduces Direct Flights From Bengaluru To Ayodhya

Indigo Airlines, in its latest move to enhance domestic connectivity, has announced the initiation of a new direct service from Bengaluru to Ayodhya starting December 31. This initiative is part of the airline's broader strategy to bolster regional travel by providing convenient flight schedules.

The introduction of this route is aimed at facilitating travel for both tourism and pilgrimage, ensuring that passengers have a reliable and efficient mode of transportation to one of the country's significant spiritual destinations. The decision reflects Indigo's commitment to expanding its network and providing seamless connectivity across India.

"The launch of daily flights connecting Bangalore to Ayodhya reflects our commitment to enhance regional connectivity in the country. The well-timed daily flights will enable our customers to travel to Ayodhya, a city of deep spiritual significance, further strengthening IndiGo's extensive network," Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, stated.

The service will feature flights that operate during the day, with flight 6E 934 leaving Bengaluru at 11.40 am and arriving in Ayodhya at 2.25 pm. The return flight, 6E 926, is scheduled to depart Ayodhya at 2.55 pm and land back in Bengaluru at 5.30 pm.

In addition to the Bengaluru-Ayodhya route, Indigo Airlines is set to resume daily flights from Bengaluru to Gorakhpur, starting on the same day, December 31. This move is aimed at connecting Bengaluru with another crucial eastern Uttar Pradesh destination, Gorakhpur, known for its rich religious and cultural heritage. Gorakhpur holds significance for followers of Jainism and Buddhism, making it a pivotal location for spiritual and cultural tourism. Indigo Airlines has planned the flights to offer competitive pricing coupled with excellent service, ensuring a memorable journey for its passengers.
