Bengaluru, April 30: A powerful thunderstorm hit Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon, throwing the city out of gear. A number of trees were uprooted in various placed while overhead wires and transformers were damaged. Roadside banners and a number of banners were also destroyed by stormy winds.
