I Loved My Son A Lot: Benagluru CEO Suchana Seth Confesses In Son's Murder Case
Suchana Seth, the 39-year-old CEO of artificial intelligence startup Mindful AI Lab, confessed to the Goa police regarding the death of her son in Goa, claiming a complex mix of emotions prompted her actions. According to her statement, her motive stemmed from both deep affection for her child and an unresolved conflict with her former husband, Venkataraman.
Seth elaborated on how her daily routine and strong bond with her father made it difficult for her to comply with court-ordered video calls between her son and Venkataraman. This fear of potential custody changes, she confessed, ultimately led to her tragic decision.

"I loved my son immensely," Seth stated. "When I used a pillow to induce unconsciousness, I believed he would wake up. But tragically, that wasn't the case. In immense grief, I attempted self-harm but couldn't complete the act."
Arrangements are underway for final rites at Brigade Gateway Residency near Bengaluru's Yeshwantpur today, followed by the funeral ceremony at Harishchandra Ghat. The deceased child's body was transported from Hiriyur to Bangalore by family members early morning. Local and Goa police maintain tight security around the Brigade apartment complex for further investigation.
Seth remains in police custody in Goa since her arrest six days ago. Forensic analysis at the crime scene is ongoing. While no visible injuries were found on the child's body apart from swelling on the chest and face, the pillows mentioned by Seth in her confession have been confiscated for examination.
