HDK's Blue Film Remark Sparks War Of Words With DKS, Political Tussle Intensifies
Amid a barrage of derisive posters, former Karnataka CM and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy responded vehemently, questioning the integrity of Deputy CM DK Shivakumar.
Accusing Shivakumar of screening blue films in theater venues at Doddalahalli and Sathanur, Kumaraswamy asserted that these actions unveiled Shivakumar's background.

However, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar countered, expressing willingness to exit politics if proven guilty of any wrongdoing in his constituency by HDK or anyone else.
Regarding the mocking posters, HD Kumaraswamy remarked, "What sort of dignity does he possess? Pasting posters is his idea of dignity. This is the notion of a party president."

Expanding on his allegations against DK Shivakumar, HDK claimed, "He (DK Shivakumar) was airing adult content in tents at Doddalahalli and Sathanur. This illustrates his roots. That's why he's resorting to posting posters now."
Responding to reporters at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee office in Bengaluru on Sunday, Shivakumar expressed dismay at HDK's statements against him, stating, "I feel disheartened for HD Kumaraswamy, a seasoned leader and former CM, speaking in this manner. Let him visit my constituency and ask the people there if they elected me with a margin of over 2 lakh votes to screen such content. If he or anyone proves my involvement in such illicit activities, I am willing to retire from politics. It's a shame for Kumaraswamy to speak like this..."
