Haven't You Registered For Gruha Jyothi Scheme Yet? 1 Cr People Already Enrolled

In just 17 days, over one crore people have applied for the Karnataka government's ambitious 'Gruha Jyothi' scheme.

"More than 1 crore families of the state have successfully applied for our government's ambitious Gruha Jyoti Yojana. Our objective is to deliver the scheme to all eligible families through minimum requirements and simple application process," Karnataka Chef Mnster Siddaramaiah tweeted.

He stated that this should give relief to the people who are facing the brunt of the price rise.

According to the recent statement released by BESCOM, if a consumer enrols for the 'Gruha Jyothi' scheme within July 25, he will be able to avail free electricity for the month of July.

Similarly, those who enrol after July 25 and before August 25, will be eligible to get free electricity for the month of August, only if the monthly consumption is under 200 units as an average.

BESCOM has said that the meter reading cycle runs from the 25th to the 25th of every month.

How To Register For Gruha Jyothi Scheme?

Note: For a quick registration keep your Aadhaar number, Account ID of your electricity connection and mobile number of Aadhaar ready with you.

• Log Into -https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/gsdn/
• Click the check box, enter captcha and press submit button.
• You will be asked to enter Aadhaar Card number.
• In the next page, you will be asked to confirm your Aadhaar number and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
• Once entering the OTP, you will have to enter your consumer number along with other details.
