Electronic giants miffed with Flipkart, may take legal action

First crashing servers, then disgruntled customers and now electronic firms are fuming at Flipkart. According to a report in Firstpost (read here), electronic firms such as Samgsung, LG and Sony are not pleased with Flipkart selling their products at heavy discounted prices.
If reports are to be believed, some companies have suspended fresh sales to Flipkart and may even take legal action against the company.
Electronic companies are likely to hold a meeting with Flipkart to discuss the matter and may ensure that the company does not sell any products at unrealistic rates.
Meanwhile the Government of India too has sit up and taken notice of the sale and said that they would look into the matter. "We have received many inputs. Lot of concern has been expressed. We will look into it," Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told reporters on Flipkart's 'Big Billion Day' sale held on Monday.
Flipkart even apologised to its customers a day after the sale saying that it will look into complaints and take a call on whether more clarity is required on e-commerce in retail.
